i think ext3 is better than reiserfs
i think ext3 is not any better than ext2 in terms
of somebody hitting pwer/reset w/o proper shutdown
- i always allow it to run e2fsck when it does
an unclean shutdown ...
- yes ext3 will timeout and continue and restore from
backups but ... am paranoid about the underlying ext2
getting corrupted by random power off and resets
