Close. I recommend a very short and simple script that installs a
configuration management system such as Puppet, cfengine or bcfg2 and then
those do all the other work. Once the infrastructure is set up, it is
very easy to do with CentOS and kickstart.

I had problems with it so I installed xubuntu and then added the KDE
packages. Not bad, but I would prefer to run CentOS since all of the
other systems I admin run it. And, no, I am not trying to fan a distro
flamewar, I'm just giving my reason for preferring it over any other.
It's not what I know that counts.
It's what I can remember in time to use.
