[Beowulf] What class of PDEs/numerical schemes suitable for GPU clusters

Seems to me. to be honest. to be bucking the current trends. Has anyone seen
it?

Maybe some "black" customer has a very, very good reason for having a
machine architected like that.
(Hmmm. NSA? Codebreaking?)
