[Beowulf] /lib/tls/libc.so.6 or libc-2.3.5.so vmadump errors

I don't know if this has anything to do with your problem but I
sometimes get problems with the nodes failing to access the master
(though dhcp) since their network card are still being initialized.
I got the suggestion to put some 'sleep xxx' somewhere in the boot
sequence so the network cards are given time to reset and register with
the switch etc. but haven't tried it.
