[Beowulf] Arrival distribution to a typical beowulf system.

I am a PhD student working on mathematical modelling for performance 
evaluation of  Beowulf

clusters.

My question is a bit general

Can we assume that the job arrivals to a typical Beowulf system can be 
exponential?
