cpilog uses the logging features provided by the MPE (MultiProcessing 
Extensions) library, which is included with MPICH and works with all MPI 
implementations.  cpi is a basic MPI program and can be built with any MPI 
implementation; cpilog makes calls to the routines in the MPE library to 
log MPI and other operations.
