Maybe not in the US, but some of us are in Europe (at least Dan and
I)...

  2037/2000 from 31st December 2002. From 31st December 2003, all
  existing systems and extinguishers must be decommissioned, except for
  those industries that are designated as critical users e.g. aircraft
  compartments, the Channel Tunnel, and military vessels.
