Ethernet bonding on RedHat 8.0 problem

Hello to All!

I've got a problem bonding two 3C509 cards on RedHat 8.0.
I've done all as described in the Bonding-HOWTO in RedHat
distribution but when I try to load the bonding module, the system
hangs up completely.

Any help we very appreciated,
