3COM GIGABIT SWITCH PROBLEM

Hello

I'm having a problem with getting a few  1000Base SX ports to pass traffic
on a 3C94024. I have heard  that you can disable  auto-sensing on the ports,
and then the ports should pass traffic. This works, as the switch does pass
traffic, but my router will not acknowledge the frames coming from the
switch. Is there another way to recover a port? Is anyone else using this
switch having the same problem?
