Quick survey -- UPSs on slave nodes?

For several clusters that we have of about 16 dual-cpu
nodes, we only use UPS's on the head nodes.  This enables
the compute nodes to see the NFS mounted /home and the
PBS server after short power outages.  For longer outages,
the head node can do a controlled shutdown.
