DSM and kernels

I would like to know how to installl the DSM-system included in the latest 
beowulf package....
I would also like to know what the difference is beetween the kernel 
cotained in rpms in the berowulf package
and a bproc-patched kernel... and does beowulf dsm-system require kernel 
support...?
