problem with nfs install

false alarm, panic over etc....

it turns out that the error message is not fatal... it must have been a config 
error in my ks file, likely candidate, but not checked yet is:
keyboard uk
instead of 
keyboard gb

quite why kickstart cant log stuff to the screen properly instead of obtuse 
messages to the virtual consoles i really dont know (or even serial port would 
be something). if you try switching to vc too soon you crash the whole shebang 
too.
