lam on netbsd/alpha

Has anyone had experience running lam-mpi on netbsd/alpha?  If so some 
links to documentation would help.  We seem to be having weird problems. 
  Also, does anyone know if it would be a problem if the master node had 
netbsd 1.4 and the rest had 1.3?
