BLAST and other parallel sequence comparison programs

To my knowledge, there is no generally available parallel implementation 
of BLAST.

I distribute a PVM/MPI parallel package of sequence comparison programs 
that includes the FASTA and Smith-Waterman (SSEARCH) algorithms that is 
available from:

	ftp://ftp.virginia.edu/pub/fasta
