Tyan motherboard

Has anyone had the problem of losing the network with heavy traffic under 
MPICH with the new Tyan S2510NG motherboards that includes dual processors 
and dual integrated Intel Nics?  We are running RedHat 6.2.  It seems to 
just stop communicating.  However, you can do rcp of large files without 
any problems. It loses the connections fairly quickly, under 1 hour.  Any 
ideas?
