The problem is 
  /opt/intel/complier50/ia32/bin/ifcvars.csh
contains bugs (!) 

In particular the last line has got a extra equals sign. Remove this and you
should be ok.

Another key bug is that you cannot jump between bash and csh without messing
up as IA32_CURRENT_PATH, etc are undefined by the bash version.
