[Beowulf] Small form computers as cluster nodes - any comments about the Shuttle brand ?

If space is a constraint, but up-front cost less so, you might want to  
consider a small blade chassis; something like an HP c-3000, which can  
take 8 blades.  Especially if all you want is a GigE interconnect,  
which will fit in the same box.  Potentially that will get you 64  
cores in 6U, and essentialy no extra space required for  
infrastructure.  Presumably other blade vendors do similar things.
