Best I've been able to come up with is turning a floppy image into a 
bootable cdrom.

 From one of the little howto's I've made for myself:
mkdir /tmp/foo
cp floppy.img /tmp/foo/
cd /tmp/foo
mkisofs -J -r -b floppy.img . > /tmp/floppy.iso
