PGI licensing

I believe that Portland Group gives the user the right to transport
compiled binaries between machines. If you compile a binary and link it
dynamically, the only library that will be a problem is PGI's
proprietary threading.

The Portland Group people are pretty cool about answering technical
questions and are very good about licensing. For example, to move a PGI
license to another machine, they simply allow you to generate a new
license and trust you to delete the previous install -- policy which is
refreshing in it's nobility. License management is online and very
convenient.

I hope this answers you questions.
