Scyld, beoboot-install

After checking /var/log/beowulf/node.x I realized that system believes
the / partition (/dev/hde3) was not cleanly unmounted, and hence a
fsck is performed which takes approximately four minutes. This happens
even if I reboot with the command

bpctl -S all -s reboot

Can this be done in a "nicer" way (in order to prevent the "not
cleanly unmounted" part)?

Anyway, I get the following from /var/log/beowulf/node.0

/dev/hda: No such device
setup_fs: Checking /dev/hde2 (type=swap)...
setup_fs: Mounting /dev/hde2 on /rootfs/swap... (type=swap;
options=defaults)
setup_fs: Checking /dev/hde3 (type=ext2)...
e2fsck 1.18, 11-Nov-1999 for EXT2 FS 0.5b, 95/08/09
ext2fs_check_if_mount: No such file or directory while determining
whether /dev/hde3 is mounted. /dev/hde3 was not cleanly unmounted,
check forced.

Another thing I don't get is how to specify on which nodes to run the
application? Does not seem as if the file machines.LINUX has anything
to do with that? As it is now the first job always starts on the
master, and my plan was to not use the master as a computational node.

Thanks,

/jon
