In this article I review some postings to the Beowulf list on the taxonomy of clusters and grids (somehow Larry the Cable Guy and his taxidermy skills seems appropriate for this subject) and remote console management. I think the discusion threads I present below provide some very useful information that can be used by everyone (despite the age of the postings).
